The best way to understand Brophy is to spend time on campus. 

A campus visit offers more than a tour. It provides an opportunity to experience the rhythm of the school day and gain a deeper understanding of the relationships, values, and traditions that define Brophy. 

Each of the programs above offers a unique perspective— together, they give you a complete picture of what it means to be part of the Brophy community. We look forward to welcoming you to campus.

Shadow Days
Shadow Days

Many students choose to attend a shadow day, an opportunity to see the Bronco experience firsthand. It’s one of the best ways to understand what it’s really like to be a Brophy student.

Through our shadow program, your son will follow a freshman host through a full schedule—attending classes, meeting students, eating in the Corral, interacting with teachers and coaches, and experiencing the rhythm of the day.

Details:

  • Available for 8th grade applicants.
  • Arrival: 7:45 a.m. | Dismissal: 2:30 p.m.
  • Lunch is provided in The Corral.
  • On most shadow days, parents are invited to attend a meet-and-greet plus campus tour with the Admissions Director from 8-9:15 a.m. to learn more about Brophy after dropping off their son. No RSVP is required.
  • Shadowing is not required, but it’s a valuable part of the process and often helps students decide if Brophy is the right fit.

Plan Your Shadow Day

When should we visit?

Over 500 shadow day spots are available this fall for 8th graders. We limit each Shadow Day to 16 students. Scheduled shadow days for fall 2026 are:

September: 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 16, 21, 22, 24, 28, 29, 30
October: 5*, 6, 8, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 27, 28, 29
November: 3, 4, 9, 10, 12, 16, 17, 18, 20
January (2027): 6

*October 5 is a Mass day and all students will attend Mass in lieu of one academic class. 

How do we sign up?
Registration for shadow days will open on August 19, 2026. Families can select their preferred shadow day on their son’s Admissions Portal in myBrophy.
Who will my son spend the day with?
Shadow day guests are paired up with one of our trained freshman students who are part of our Diplomatic Corps, or you can request a specific Brophy freshman. 
Where do we park?
Visitor parking is available on campus. Please follow the directions of the Brophy Security personnel when arriving on campus. 
What should my son bring?
Students should bring a backpack with a book to read or homework in case a teacher gives a test in class, and a refillable water bottle. Lunch will be provided. Mobile phones must be turned off and put in a backpack during the school day. 
What should my son wear?
Brophy's dress code is a shirt with a collar, shorts or slacks (no denim or gym shorts), a belt, sneakers, and no hats or earphones. On Fridays, students may wear a Brophy t-shirt in place of the collared shirt.

 

Information Socials
Information Socials

Information Socials are evening events for eighth-grade boys and their parents to hear from Brophy Director of Admissions Mike Ward about Jesuit education, academics, co-curricular activities, and the admissions process. They also offer a chance to hear firsthand from current Broncos about life at Brophy.

The program starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m. Location/address and parking information will be provided to all registered families.

    Registration for Information Socials will open in late August in the Admissions Portal in myBrophy. Families can select the geographic neighborhood/date that works best for their schedule. 
Open House
Open House

Join us for our largest admissions event of the year — our annual Open House. Attendees will have the opportunity to talk to students, faculty, administration, coaches and parents. Explore campus, connect with the Brophy community, and discover the academic, athletic, and co-curricular opportunities that make Brophy unique. Students of all ages are invited to attend with their parents — it's never too early to think about becoming a Brophy Bronco!

Campus Tours
Campus Tours

There is no better way to get a feel for Brophy than to see campus during the school day and experience the energy, relationships, and sense of purpose that define our community.

Tours are offered by appointment throughout the school year and typically last 75–90 minutes.

    • Monday–Thursday: 8:15 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
    • Friday: 8:15 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
    • Group tours are available on select Shadow Days from 8:00-9:15 a.m. No RSVP is required. Contact us for available group tour dates.
    • Summer tours are available during summer school in June.
    • Campus is closed during July. We will resume campus tours in mid-August by appointment.
