Freshman Retreat Reminder 2026-27 Immersion Trip Program Students who are interested in traveling on an immersion trip this year should keep an eye out for the OFJ Immersions document, which will be emailed to them (and you!) on Monday, Aug. 24. This document provides a general overview of the immersion program and offers specific information about this year’s offerings, which begin in September with a KBI overnight and wrap up in July 2027 with the Camino Ignaciano. |

Important dates Brophy will host the Brophy/Xavier College Fair on Monday, Sept. 28 from 6-8 p.m. Admission representatives from Indiana University - Bloomington, University of Notre Dame, TCU, Barrett the Honors College at Arizona State University, Creighton University and many more will be on hand to answer your questions. All grades are welcome to attend. Admission counselors from Brown, Columbia, UChicago, and Vanderbilt will be visiting Brophy on Sunday, Sept. 27 from 2-3:30 p.m. Admission counselors will discuss: academics, the admission process at selective schools, financial aid, and campus life. Registration link coming soon. Juniors and Seniors, this one’s for you. Colleges and universities are coming to Brophy beginning on Aug. 31. Sign up through your Maia account to speak with a college admissions counselor. Don’t forget to clear the visit with your teacher. Need assistance signing up? Seniors (and parents): Senior Parent Night for Spanish speaking families will be held virtually on Tuesday, Sept. 1. In-state college applications are now open. ASU, UofA and NAU host both in-person and virtual events to help with your next steps. Learn more about the Tri-University Events here. Have you visited any colleges either in person or online? Fall Break is the perfect time to get out there and see what’s available. It’s time! Make sure you have taken the SAT and ACT. Brophy hosts the SAT but spots fill up quickly. Welcome Back! This year’s theme, “Linked by Love,” is a reflection on the love that connects us to our children, to our school, and to one another. Though each of us brings different experiences, perspectives, and gifts, it is our shared commitment and love for our boys that unite us. There are many exciting events ahead, and I hope you will join us whenever you can. I look forward to seeing you on campus as we share a wonderful year together, linked by love!

This is your opportunity to learn about and meet with each of our committees, preview upcoming events, and learn about volunteer opportunities. It’s also a great time to meet other moms and start the year being involved with the Mothers’ Guild. Keep your eye out for the invitation to come via Punchbowl in late July.
In addition, there will be separate socials for our moms of each class to gather and connect in the fall and spring - more details to come!
NEW THIS YEAR: Two Retreat Options To accommodate as many moms as possible, we are offering two date options for the exact same great retreat experience! Please note that these are the only dates that senior moms will go on retreat. If a senior mom has a freshman, sophomore, or junior son they are welcome to attend the Spring underclassmen retreat.
